1 black bitch, 1 black dog and 1 blue dog based in Worcester. Approx 8 weeks old.

I have one from the litter and I can totally recommend them.

Healthy, happy, beautiful pups.

Not sure if Kirsten will be back on K9 again soon to give you a better idea of the full pedigree but they are from:

Elaphine Alex Blue

Midnight Princess Mother

Grandparents:

Hammond Blue Lagoon

Elaphine Blue Blood

Blue Streak Lamb Franco

Midnight Dill

Or even Bluestreak Lanfranco at Sufeina.

Sorry Lamb Franco made me laugh Rae. LOL!

Is the breeder Steph Ely?

Are these the pups from the 3rd litter?

So our dog is now a great uncle then (w00t) Wouldn't Bean be in there somewhere as well ? (sorry, I forget his ped name) The age would be about right though... This was a pic at 2 weeks if so...

PMSL

I thought it was a stupid name BeeJay. :- "

I was told over the phone whilst eating and I couldn't read my own writing. I'm not even sure I got the Mother right :b :clown:

PM Kirs and she'll give you the details of the breeder.

I'm not sure who she is but she's based in Worcs.

Hopefully Kirs will be able to confirm if that's the mam.

 I think Lamb Franco is better :- "

Looking at the breeding with my brain fully awake I don't think they can be Stephs - the SIRE of her July 23rd litter was Frankie (Bluestreak Lanfranco...), not the grandfather. I think they are from a sister of 'Go with the Flow' with that grandparentage. They must have been born almost at the same time and almost the same place though (w00t)

This is definitely gran (midnight dill, my dog's litter sister) though:

At the moment I haven't got a transfer of ownership for the bitch Elizabeth which is why I wondered if she still owned her. She's a black.

I probably just haven't input the transfer in yet. :)

BTW it's also Elaphine Alexander Blue Rae. (Tsch pedants :- " ) Those are the right grandparents for the sire and dam so I'm sure that you are correct.

Yep it'll be a sister of Go With The Flo.

Pups should be very nice with that breeding.

No sorry Elizabeth I keep a whippet pedigree database. I meant that I haven't so far found a transfer of ownership in the Breed Record Supplements but I'm rather behind and still only doing the end of last year.

I'm full to bursting with dogs here and can't have another whippet for years now. :(

I was going to ask why the dog had bandgaes....so why :- "

Yep it's been a very disruptive year for me so I'm about 9 months behind. I'm still inputting October to December 2004. But I check through the new BRS as they come in for new litters if they might concern Bean.

I would have got them in earlier but every new litter that I input I also make sure has a 5 gen pedigree. So I input any missing litters from the pedigree too. That's a lot of dogs in a 5 gen ped.

You could say that I'm well behind as I haven't got all the dogs in for 1901 either. That's very tricky as the registrations go like this Bill by Mr Smith's Burt out of Mr Jones Bessie. Or Jack from Mr Smith's Reg and his Lady. That kind of thing. No affix's back then just pet names. You end up with loads of Lady's and Blackies etc etc.

It doesn't always help when there is an affix because some breeders like Laguna re used names. Then you have to be very careful or you get the wrong dogs in a pedigree.

Sorry going off into anorak country now. :b
