After many comitte meetings. We now have our dates for all 3 shows,to be held at BARRON TOP FARM. DONEMANA, Co Tyrone,Northern Ireland. As many on here know.We are trying to improve on what has already proved to be.One of the best show venues in ireland. This year,we have some super cups on offer, for all 3 shows. Thanks to big Terry moore.Who has gone all out.To make this venue, the one that will be talked about, all season, and hopefully every season. When we've achieved what we are setting out to do.From this year on.Some of you may remember, the old All Ireland Lurcher and Terrier events. From years gone by.Where all finalists, had to either win,or be reserve champion. At a show in Ireland. These usualy consisted of shows won in Northern Ireland only.As i cant remember anyone, ever qualifying, from down South. This is about to change, and meetings are being sought. With club representatives. From all over Ireland. As far away as County Cork.As to getting a complete 32 COUNTY.All ireland,CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS SHOW,and RACING CHAMPIONSHIP.Which will probibly take place at a central point to every club in Ireland.Such as DUBLIN.Or somwhere more suitable. Some talks have already been going on,behind the scene's,and there seems to be good interst in this taking place. At the end of the show season. This year.We will be traveling to Cork,at some stage, and also to other parts of Ireland.Meeting representatives. From clubs that have yet to be heard off.Up here in the north.Yes folks. They do exist, and have been opperating for years.Just like ourselves,in our wee part of the emeald isle. But back to our own venues, for 2010.

As many of you know.My youngest daughter,ALANNAH.Has been suffering ,from type 1,DIABETIS.Our 1st show. Will be a fund raiser, for our local Diabetic Unit.In the Childrens Ward.At Altnagelvin Hospital.Where Alannah attends regularly.Along with many, many more children.Who suffer from this condition. All our hospital's,are seriously under funded, and our aim.Is to help with many of the costs, needed to keep this small part of the childrens ward opperating,to the best of their ability.

Our 2nd show.Is in memory.Of a very special wee girl.Who lost her life, just a few months ago_On the 7th of November,in a freak accident. When she swallowed a balloon. At her friends Birthday Party.Clarice Harron, would have been celebrating her own Birthday. The very next day.But God had different idea's,and called her from this world. At the very young age of 10.Even though Clarice was only 10 years old.She was a very serious dog owner, lover, and very successful dog show enthusiast.Only a couple of months before. She was showing her wee dogs,at our very own ,last show of the season. As a mark of respect to Clarice, and to her family. We are.At the request of the owner of BARRON TOP FARM,and, with the full backing of all club members.Giving all proceeds of this show.To the charity, yet to be chosen.By Clarise's mum and dad.Clarice and Alannah, were very close friends, and belonged to the same school. In Castlederg.

Our 3rd show.Was/is.Used to fund our wee club. For the many bits and pieces, that we are trying to put together. For the future good,of our shows. This year though. We are thinking that maybe this one too. Will go to a local charity. This has yet to be decided though. The outlay,so far.For Trophie's,rosette's.Etc,this year.Would scare you.Believe me.But this dont matter. What matters, are those kids.Who will benefit from the proceeds of this years shows. If anyone feels they would like to make a donation to these Charitie's.We would be very gratefull indeed.

I would also like to draw youre attention to any other shows this year. That are also for Charitable work.Like the one Josh.(Keeran)is holding.Come on folks.Support these show's to the full.

I will be putting up a list,of all classes to be catered for this year. When i have it to hand.. Looking forward to meeting up with you all again, and many thanks,to those who have supported us.In our 1st 3 years of getting this wee club off the ground.

Youre's in sport, and on behalf of the club. Billy.

Whippets will be well catered for too Margaret. With an end of year Champion of Champions for them too. Then of course. There will be the normal show champion of Champions. At each show.Which the whippet will also qualify for.Along with the Champion lurcher, terrier, strong dog,and gun dog.Think we are the only club in the UK,or Ireland.Who include the gun dogs.As siad.We are a lurcher, terrier and gun dog club. With representatives from all 3.In the comitte.Looking forward to meeting up with you and John again, soon. Good luck, for the coming season. I think Terry is looking for a contact number for you two Margaret.

I hope to support these events (whippet racing especially). glad to hear the news, except that is really terrible what happened to young Clarice.
