I bought a fluffy charcoal grey handsome little boy back in March this year. He had never been socialized outside the ladies immediate family and had never been outside their garden. He was worried about us in the beginning and he marked a few places the day he arrived home with us, making sure this was his home!

I have a 2 year old and a 10 year old and even when they get a little rough with him, he is great - has growled once or twice but then he has moved himself away from them till they calm down and then he comes back to sleep alongside them while they watch TV. On the whole, very tollerant but.....

No strangers can come into our home without him trying to have a go at them. In the beginning it was just baring his teeth, barking and jumping at them but I am scared he might go too far and actually bite someone.

We have had him innoculated and micro chipped and in the new year we plan to have him neutered. He is never left alone for very long periods of time and is walked almost every day. (if not, we do have a back garden for him to run around in which he does do)

On walks he ignores people we pass unless they stop and try to pet him, them he tries to go for them. He is pretty good around other dogs although he does bark and drag me if I don't let him have a sniff or if I don't let him have a long enough "hello".

He won't come when called, so we can't let him off the lead (probably just as well) and I don't know what to do to keep him from being nasty - any ideas welcome.

I think he would benefit from some proper training.

He looks very cute in your avatar pic though :)
