I have a 5 month old wirehaired fox terrier with swollen gums from teething - 2 of his teeth trying to fall out...

Can anyone advise me on treatment aside from salt water? Thanks!

A frozen carrot is quite soothing and satisfying to gnaw on.

As suggested a carrot to gnaw on will help the gums, also some raw bones (try chicken wings, or necks) perfectly safe and also full of nutrition (ask your butcher for raw bones), but must always remain raw.

Not a good idea using salt water though !!
