The Northern Pedigree Whippet Racing Club has been invited to give a lure coursing demonstration at The Cheshire Game and Angling Fair on the 20th of August 2006 at Over Peover, near Knutsford. It is anticipated that we will have the services of a professional slipper and a professional judge.

I am posting this now as we will shortly be starting our winter lure coursing programme and I will be running a “top dog” league. It may be, due to time constraints at the show, that only a limited number of dogs will be able to participate in the demonstration. If so, those gaining most points during the winter will be given preference. All participants will have free access and car parking at the show.

The NPWRC will start lure coursing, on a fortnightly basis on Sunday 13th November at 1pm.

Oooooh how cool is that, well done you lot!!!!

Love Peover, think it's one of the best Game Fair's going within a decent travelling distance and the cider tent  just as well you have a professional slipper, you'll be able to partake in a few halves.

Only trouble with this show is it's always the week before BWRA straight champs and Ella puts on 1lb's walking round eating all the dropped burgers :D

Get plenty flyers printed, be a nice bit of advertisement for the club coz it's usually hammered with ped whippets.

Well done Dennis then!

We've had loads of interest in our club on the back of Peover, in fact we got chatting to a couple there this year and they've just joined the club with 2 pups!! Be good if you could do a few trials, let people who haven't done it before get a taster for it ;)

Come on whose entering I wanna bash at predictions!

The dogs put forward will have earned the right over the winter. They will be there strictly on ability, not on whoever holds the leads!
