We have always wanted a whippet pup ....
We were going to wait until the oldies had gone and then Toms heart diagnosis has made us think ....we have been offered choice of two whippet girls both fawn blue brindles ....
Toms meds have been working and both him amd sid love puppies ...do we go for it or wait until Tom has gone ..?..

What are your reasons for thinking it might be best to wait? Is a mad crazy whippet pup likely to put more strain on his heart if he tries to join in the fun? OTOH, would he actually really enjoy playing with a mad crazy whippet - would it enhance his life so much it's worth it even if he does overdo it?

Would having another dog in the household help Sid cope when Tom is gone?
