Did anyone see the tv series COAST tonight featuring the East coast of Scotland?

The red bridge (in the 2nd photo)-FORTH RAIL Bridge-took 7 years to build and approx 5,000 men to build it

Some children were as young as 10 years old who worked on the bridge-

Over the period in which it took to build-approx 80 workers died-through falls etc one fatality was only 13 years old

A fabulous bridge/landmark-

Hows that for information- :D

We always enjoy our trips BACK along the Forth bridge it means we are only 70 odd miles away from home think yourselve lucky you only have to make this trip once a year, some off us have to cross this bridge many times.

Val i am trying to promote the Scottish scenery and your supposed to help--

P.S Should i put your photo on K9 thread" Introducing Yourself"--or have you got a decent one--doubtful???

Yes Steve you do a Grand job promoting the scenery without any help from me.

As for putting my photo on here AGAIN you must be having a laugh I am sure the last one had to be viewed after the eight p.m. watershed as it was so scary for the younger K 9ers, no I dont have any better ones I tend to get the red eye syndrome going on (and its not with the wine) .

However am glad to hear you Karen and Harry enjoyed your stay in our clean aired friendly country (stir, stir, stir) and will see you soon at the champs.

Three Fingers Of Red Eye thats the one your talking about ---not to be confused with photography red eye---and how did you manage to write all that without swearing?????

   (w00t)

steve

PS we have one of your pictures on fire place keeps kids and dogs away and saves them getting burnt---- :clown: :clown:
