I knew there were shows for pedigree dogs like Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, etc but I wish I knew if there were shows for non-peds like lurchers. I have two and would like to enter some just for the fun of it but is there such a thing? I live on the east coast but would be willing to travel up north if there are any. Thanks! :thumbsup:

It isn't clear whether there will be anything for lurchers on the Sun. but as the page specified "Sat only" for the show I expect it is the same as when I went to Mora a couple of years ago. There was lure coursing and racing on Sun. as well as the show and lure coursing and racing on Sat.

does anyone know how to contact the organisers of the lurcher/terrier events to find further info.?

LAST YEAR WAS A LOAD OF BOLLOX !!

AFTER STANDING FOR HOURS TO GET RACING WE WERE TOLD THE LURE WASNT WORKING !!

THEN WHEN THE CLUB DISAPPEARED THEY NEVER SAID IF THEYD BE BACK ON SUNDAY OR IF THE LURCHER SHOW WAS EVEN ON AGAIN ON SUNDAY !

SORRY THATS JUST CRAP AND UNACCEPTABLE !!

AGAIN THIS YEAR THERES TALK THAT THE LURCHER EVENTS ARENT EVEN ON AND GUESS WHAT...NOBODY KNOWS WHODAFUX RUNNING WHAT !!

SHAMBLES YET AGAIN I FEAR. OFCOURSE WEL ALL TRAIPSE ON ON SPEC JUST INCASE ..LIKE LAMBS TO THE SLAUGHTER

Yes, There are lurcher shows with qualifiers, I am running one on 29th June 2008, with a Cock 0 the North Qualifier, at Blankney, Lincolnshire, It will be a good day.

Hey Martin.If all the entry's have to be with you by 9 tonight,then what time do all the order's for breakfast have to be in at,as i'll be with you by around 7 am. That is,if i dont get lost,ha ha.Thought the whole family were coming down with me,but it would mess up Alanah's blood's or summit,with all the hassle,as she has to eat at set time's n thing's.As she is having load's of hypo's lately,with a few 1.5s and so on,it will only be Kirsty and myself.So mine will be an ULSTER FRY,thankyou very much.They know how to make one of these in PORTLOISE anyhow,as i got one when i went down to use Honcho Classic,over Megan's mum.Unfortunately she never held,So next season we bred her to my SILVER dog,and produced Megan.Silver was 5/8 ,over a greyhound,so Megan just might go to youre Ningbo Jack dog yet,(wait for it,ha ha)if im to keep up with a few other's.Hey ,we might need this type of breeding,if we are all sent home with our tail's between our leg's,on Sunday,ha ha.
