As the opens are hear in avengance we at Westerhope are still racing on a Saturday Morning. We will run a handicap if we have enough dogs. Their will be plenty time for run ups. A cup of tea and a natter . I will guarantee a fixed payout to those people who continue to race their dogs at the club during the open season. It is also a good time to maintain the equipment. If for any reason we cancel I will let you know. Many thanks and good luck to you all, bring back a few racing champions to Westerhope. Terry Black

Results Westerhope Saturday 4th April 2011

The sun shone at Westerhope today and it was nice to

give a warm welcome to Leigh / Meesh and Stuart from Hawick.

They brought 3 dogs with them and two were put into the handicap . Jinxys lass and Ruby Doby Do.A good first run for both of them.

Jinxys lass won her heat and was just beaten in the semi. Stuart gave his blue brindledog a run up . Hope to see a lot more of you this year.

First today was Lieghs Jinxys Lass all the way from Hawick.

Close second was Meeshs Ruby Doby Do also all the way from Hawick

Thanks for coming through to join us today lads, you are more than wecolme.

There may only have been a few of us but boy did we enjoy are selves.

Nice to see Sue , we made time for girlie talk.

Lar and Alan saved the day. Alan on the Lure and Larr on the boxes.

We had a few run ups/ Stuarts Blue brindle and Alans Black dog. Both ran well

A little black pup came for a run up. Not quite there yet but will soon be in the handicap.

Richie had a couple of run ups with Deta and Lima his lurchers.

Ritchie ran one of the up with Ronnie Stuarts blue brindle.

It gave me an Idea as from next There will be an extra handicap with these dogs plus anymore whe wants to join them.

Coffee sweets and all went home with a pork pie.

Well I do hope all you who went to the open enjoyed yourself, but please dont forget to come back your club needs you.

Russ guess who won the domino card [Yes it was you ,dont worry Ill look after the £ 500 FOR YOU ]

Daisy is 23/24lb, and she's just started racing in a couple of opens and in the Maltby club handicap.

Clocking some good times according to the club handicapper too :thumbsup: Had to give 3 yds to a 32lb dog the other week (w00t)

ye both pups out of miss daisy x jack the lad, roxy is , leighs pup, jinxs lass , gave her sister 6 on sat , an beat her about 2 , , but ruby just getting the hang of things , still a bit nervous , but she'll be ok very soon
