Thought I'd let you know first...we met Jack's breeder at today's show in Haddenham and Jack is still looking for his forever home. His breeder said if were willing to give things another try we could!

We pick him up tomorrow...3 and 1/2 weeks later and no doubt more gangly than ever but he will be ours for life!

Thank you SO much for all your messages of support, encouragement and hope. It seems he is meant to be ours!

A very happy

Hannah xx

I couldn't be more happy for you, Hannah :D

Good Luck to you all, its obviously meant to be, you've had that time to think things through - enjoy!!!

Hope Sam enjoys having him back and they settle down to a lovely friendship x

Thank you ladies!

Sam has missed his little friend and so have we! It seems a lifetime since he was here and we certainly won't be parting with him again!

We know what to expect and are all committed to Jack's and Sam's welfare. I think this has been a huge blessing in disguise!

Things worked against us last time but we feel this is truly meant to be!

I must say Jack's breeder is a man of real integrity and compassion. Thank you Rob and Helen!!

Awwww, that's great news :D So pleased for you all Hannah! :huggles:

Good luck. Sometimes the first week with a new dog can be a bit overwhelming, especially if you were all feeling below parr at the time. Hope all goes well. :luck:

All went well with Jack's collection and he seems to remember us and the home. Sam was thrilled to see him again! Sam is still mounting him but not as bad and Jack is a little heavier so he doesn't look so frail!

Here are a couple of homecoming pics. Thanks for all your good wishes.

What a beautiful boy  . Hope all goes well and he and Sam settle down together happily this time. :luck:

What a gorgeous looking lad. I don't know what happened but you've obviously had a bit of a roller coaster ride to have had to part with him in the first place. I hope you all settle down together so good luck and more pics - he's lovely!

Tuesday update.

Jack came back with a very heavy scent of season over him as his Mum (or Auntie) is there. Of course our Sam was more desperate than ever to `do what dogs do` but with aniti-season spray plus keeping them apart half the time, we are getting a more peaceful house!

We were thinking Jack was the right pup for us but if you could see the love in Sam's eyes for him you would know our boy is going to look after him forever! Talk about protective!

Here is their lunch time meal. Supervised of course but very sociable!

Jack is four and half months and Sam is ten and three months (we recently discovered his birthdate!) so these pics will give you some idea of the gentle, loving nature of our boy.

Become a cat and you are a gonna but with people and obviously puppies Sam is the best!

Yes, beauty and the beast to look at the photo's but inside they are both perfect!

I bought two new bones today and Sam was more than happy to share his with pup! Still mounting when he can but things seem to be improving.

I bought Jack some new toys too (as if he hasn't got enough!) which made me feel like a new Mum again! ;)

Thanks for all your good wishes.

I will keep you posted.
