I havnt been happy with fronline on the few accasions ive used it so popped into vets for a wee chat they dont mind if not too busy, so asked whats new he said activyl is now the one they are using, it only starts to work once its inside the flee, anyone here tried it or have any info bout it?

I haven't used Activyl but we do use Advocate at least half of the time to make sure that any fleas around this part don't get resistant. I note that Activyl is still a prescription only product at the moment so I assume that it's still quite expensive if you need to pay for a consultation as well as paying vet mark ups on price.

Dont know what your vets are like but theres no way mine would want a consultation now yes its prescription so how much for two dogd both weighing 45 and 48 pound was 15pound which i really dont think is bad at all, vet uk.com had it at 22pound for 6 pips

Havent heard of that one, yet. I have used Advocate, Frontline and Stronghold in the past but cant say I am impressed with any of them- even when I've washed all the dog bedding, treated the carpets etc in conjunction with the treatments. My vets charge a fortune for them so I usually pay for a prescription if needed and buy online.
