Advice about diet and red tear staining

Hi

I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck with changing their dogs food to prevent red tear stains around the eyes ? I've tried solutions such as angel eyes but they don't seem to work .

Hi My friends miniature schnauzer had terrible tear stains and some discoloration on her legs as well , she swaped to a grain free kibble, Salmon & Potato, I think it was Angell Petco, and 4 weeks later the stains were much better, she stayed with it and the stains wwent in about 3 months i think, she was showing him after this and had really good results.
