I have a nine and a half month pup (MEG) who has just had her first two full run ups.

Trouble is about two or three minutes after her run she seems to cramp up

she arches her back and shakes this normaly lasts a couple of minutes

A lady at wallsend track said to give a vitamin E tablet before she runs .

Any advice please

Cheers Brian

ive found if you give electalites in feed every day it stops this as always worked with mine

tomatoes in with her food regularly is a good way to help stop cramps tinned are best i found--vitamin c is helpful in powder form on food--try all sorts---- some dogs respond better to different things--

we once had a greyhound that cramped regular it turned out to be a vit c deficiency causing her to get the screws try vit c it should do the trick
