Hi, I was wondering if someone could help :b .

One of my two whippety things, Nana, is proving to be very fast :D , and I would love to have a go racing her.

I don't know whether this would be possible- she is 22" at the shoulder and weighs 18kg (think this is around 40lb but not entirely certain), she was a stray so has no papers.

If it would be possible how should I go about it?

Thank you so much.

ps I have attached some pictures

She's a cracker  she left mine standing this morning :b

She's based in Oxfordshire - are there any clubs within a couple of hours drive from here?

Lovely looking dog....

What times is she doing....

Do you know Wantage....nr(Oxford)

The nearest non ped track is Fordingbride, easy to find the track its on the main spotsfield next to the river, trainning most wednesdays at 6pm.

I been to Wantage occasionally.

I'm not quite sure where Fordingbride is?

I've taken her a few times to the greyhound schooling track near Bicester and yesterday her time for a circuit was 16.7 sec, but I'm not sure how long it is, so that probalby doesn't tell you much- I'm a real novice.

Thank you for all your help.

Just realised I've been dim- - found Fordingbridge and East Dorset in Non-Ped Section, going to look on a map now.

It says the weight is up to 36lb, so I assume at 40lb she's too big? DOn't think she could afford to lose 4lb. Is this going to be the case in all clubs? Sorry to keep on asking all these questions

in opens there is 40lb classes and no limit classes i have two no limit dpgs weighing 46lb and 50lb im not sure of the handicaps down your way but they may have a scratch race on 4 the big dogs? btw lovely looking dog.
