Hi ive just treated Rolo with advocate this morning, put it on then went for a walk. When i came back and took his harness off the harness was wet with advocate and Rolo was dry do you think I'll need to apply another dose or will it still have soaked in? Stupid me never thought about the harness rubbing!

No, there is an overdose risk. I would leave it a month and be hypervigilant before reapplying.
