Hi everyone,

As some of you may know I joined this site a long time ago to learn more about whippets for when the time was right for me to adopt. Well finally after a long wait the right time is almost here. I wanted to wait until I finished my diploma and had everything in place. I finish up in May and I am on the lookout for that special dog to let into my home and my heart. My last dog (a collie x) died 4 years ago and he was the love of my life. Since his death I have made sure that I have always had dogs in my life by fostering which greatly helped me deal with my loss. I am based in Ireland and have a fantastic home to offer, with plenty of safe areas to run and the company of two female lurchers and a grumpy cat during the week . I am on the lookout for a small adult whippet, whippet x around a year old, perhaps a dog that was previously someones pet, good with other dogs, with a calm gentle temperment, house trained, good in the car and on the lead and cat friendly I understand that finding a dog that fits these requirements will be difficult but I am willing to wait a little longer for the right one to come along. So if any of you hear of anything please get in touch,

Thanks so much
