Hi,

We have been informed that the ALC Showing/Racing/Hurdles Finals (run by Alan Tyer) that were due to be held at Pickering Show Ground over the August Bank Holiday weekend has been cancelled.

This is "apparently" due to The Events Team who run these shows going bust.

Alan is trying to find a new venue for later in the year to hold the finals at.

they had some trouble at the pickering steam fair the other week when we went they ended up with the police being brought in because some off them did,nt get paid for the show.. i think they were the same people who run that ..

we were informed about this too .. what a shame ..rumour has it someone ran away woth the gate money at the steam ralley .. not sure if its true though. im sure alan will find another venue :thumbsup:
