Linda sent me some photos of the pups. These were taken before their eyes were open.

With mum.

The black with the white front paws is a bitch.

The brindle at the front is known as naughty boy. Can't think why.

Alan's had a stomach bug since last Friday and has kindly pased it on to me. Chrismas dinner has been cancelled. Grump, grump, grump. Hoping that my stomach will be okay by Sunday 'cause I'm going to see the pups for the first time then.

Georgia's doing them very well and they have all put on lots of weight. Their eyes are open and today mum has decided that they need a more 'solid' diet :x :x (so glad that it's Linda rearing 'em and not me) so they've been introduced to puppy milk and the blacks worked out what to do at their first go. Now Linda's work really starts. They'll be running her even more ragged in no time. Not to mention all that regurgitated food to clean up.

We've had quite enough of that sort of thing from the humans here without the dogs joining in. :x :x

Very nice pups. I did think you would have a black but looking at those brindles I'm not so sure now. They're all lovely though. Have a great time on Sunday. Sorry to hear you two aren't well though. Hope you're better soon.

Hope you feeling alot better.

The pups are gorgeous

Thanks for the good wishes folks. :* We have both recovered and made the long journey to East Anglia for some puppy cuddles.

Well we've had a look, had mega puppy cuddles and we've picked our next dog. NOT. Not a chance in hell! One of 'em looks like dad, one is just sooo pretty and the other one is soooo cute and all snuggly. Alan the meany has refused to let us have all 3 of the boys. So I said how about having 2 of them and he said if I can't pick one then we'd better not have any at all. (w00t) (w00t) AND he didn't get me a Christmas pressie neither!

What a shame that means that we'll have to go back again to have a look at them. If only they were closer.

I shall post some photos of the pups tomorrow.

 alan you meanie

poor you barbara, that is going to be hard to choose, but i think the brindles are winning me over

and to think you seemed so set on a black pup before they where born

Some whippet folks may wonder what the point of a black whippet is. Well here's the answer.

To be a brindle whippet pillow.

They are in order, black bitch, brindle dog, black dog, brindle dog, black bitch.

Black bitch and first born and now weighing in at 2lbs 2ozs   .

I dunno just when I think that I can trust Alan to take photos of ALL of the pups being held I find out that the other black bitch hasn't got any single shots. OR Oh no (w00t) (w00t) don't say that I didn't cuddle her (w00t) (w00t) I might have missed out on a puppy cuddle. Maybe we'll have to go back sooner than Alan planned too. ;) Anyway she's the one with the white chest on the right in the first photo.

Black dog, the smallest at only 6.5 ozs when born is catching the others up fast, now 2lbs. The only white on him is on his chest. Unfortunately the photos taken from the front didn't come out. The photo doesn't do him justice   He is totally scummy. Very laid back, cute and adorable.

they are lovely beejay how will you ever pick

Now for the brindles.

This is naughty boy so named 'cause Linda had to rescue him on the day he was born, he'd climbed over his mum and got stuck on the wrong side and she's been having to rescue him from his adventures ever since. When last weighed he was 2lbs. I think that he's stunning.

Please excuse the bits of food on the pups. Mum hadn't had a chance to clean it off them.

This is the bigger of the 2 brindle boys. He weighed in at 2lbs 2ozs. I think that he look most like his dad. He has his dad's head shape.  He's got more stripe's than the other brindle boy and isn't quite so red at the moment.

Both together.

Aww they are lovely Barbara  I dont know how ever you will choose, I must admit I have a soft spot for brindles and the bigger lad with the black mask reminds me of my Ross when he was a pup - gorgeous!
