Hi folks,

My dog is 13 years old. Tonight he vomited in the house, and then soon after when I took him out for a walk he produced a VERY strange looking poop.

Here's the image..

(zoom in for all the gross detail)

As you can see.. Half of it was normal brown poop, the rest was.. like crazy pasta. It was mucus-y as well. This is too big to be any kind of worms, right?

It didn't seem to trouble him at all, and he seems his normal self otherwise.

I will call the vet in the morning, just wondering if anyone has seen anything like this before??

Thanks a lot

I had a very good spot from someone on Facebook just now. They suggested he's eaten used tissues.

Which he has! My partner has a cold at the moment, lots of tissues to scavenge. I've caught Lex chewing some up more than once over the last couple days.

Hopefully.. It's just that, and they'll pass through ok.

Is there anything else this looks like it could be?

I was going to suggest it is probably something he has eaten. If he has vomited as well then worth keeping an eye on him.

Not a pciture to look at when drinking coffee    Hope it's all sorted.
