Amos, Staffie, DOB 01.08 – Godstone, Surrey
Homing Requirements: Amos needs an aware Staffie family who can support their dog achieving managed dog encounters i.e retained on a lead. Secure garden and exit management. Could settle with a proven other dog but ideal as an only companion dog.
His Story: Amos has grown up within a young family with children and a Staffie bitch. He got out of the house and in his excitement leapt up at a Jack Russell Terrier which was lifted by its nervous owner and he bit it in confusion, not his fault. The Housing Association insisted the family 'got rid of him'. The Animal Welfare Officer has known him for many years and managed to find a rescue place with ourselves. Amos is neutered and being vax'd. Kennelled in Godstone, Surrey.
Advert: Amos has always been a much loved dog. He has been well socialised in his family and meets people, dogs and children well. Amos should be retained on a lead to ensure his dog on dog encounters go well. He successfully grew up with another Staffie. A sensitive soul who enjoys company and a busy household.
Amos is a blue brindle Staffie with longer legs and a pleasant calm temperament. He isn't leapy but yes will rise to offer affection and thrives on human love and attention. A beautiful boy who was wrenched from his loving family and carries their blessings. He will find a new family soon.
Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
