Hello

I am fairly new to this site and have been enjoying the photos and information about whippets. I am from Canada. My parents are originally from Bristol and my brother moved a year ago to London. I really love seeing the sea-side pics. Lots of nice childhood memories of visits. All the dogs are so beautiful and look so happy.

Anyhow, I got my first whippet last September. She is a lovely girl called "Kat" (katrina, 'walking on sunshine') I have learned that her dad has sired another litter and there is a darling little girl who is likely available. I had been thinking of getting Kat a sister...but, I'm not sure about timing and as well would like to know about what two whippets are like in the house together. Kat is just over 8 months old.

So, any comments about when to get a second and what two are like in the house would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Lee

1 is never enough!!

Only you know if you can cope with 2 pups at once or whether you need to wait till Kat calms down.

If Kat has been well behaved then maybe you should read the thread on puppies before you make up your mind

They can be very hard work as pups

But sooooooooo worth it :D
