Nice one mate. I only hope we can keep you out of the pub!!!

hope you have a great first meeting at your new venue

Sounds like an excellent race venue Mark. Good luck with the racing. :luck:

Thanks BJ with it being a private Rugby ground they have a full time Groundsman who looks after everything so the running surface is spot on.

They are happy for us to run Opens there and racers would be able to camp on the ground or there is a small Caravan Club site right next door.

Sounds ideal!

Good luck with it all :luck:

Thanks Joanna, it's been hard work but we should now start to see the rewards for all our efforts.

we've a good number of people wanting to join with pups and older dogs so hopefully by the start of next year we should have a good number of runners making for some good racing.

Come on Mally get yourself up for a run, you know it makes sense.

Just seen the photos Mark looks like a lovely place.

The walk around the lake is approximatly 3 miles, with it being a country park there are some fantastic walks through the surounding countryside.

in the Summer it's a realy nice place to walk around but in the winter it's absolutly stunning with the snow on the hills ect.

were only 10 minutes away from it and we often go up with Kieren as theres loads to see and do around the lake.

Sounds like you've got everything you could wish for Mark

The beer is realy cheap, had a realy good night all the rugby players that were in have said they are coming on Sunday to watch the whippets race.

The weigh in on Sunday is 1.30-1.45 pm racing from 2pm, there will be trials available for pups and older dogs before and after racing and during any breaks.
