To allow time for the main track to be in tip top condition for the upcoming open season we intend to prepare a second track to run alongside it. This piece of ground has been roped off all of last year so therefore has a good covering of grass and has been rollered, however, before it can be used we will need to go over it and pick up any stones. To this end we are intending to run two work parties over the following two sundays, the more people who can come along and help, the better, and the sooner we will be able to commence club racing on it. Please join us at the track next sunday (20th January) and again on the 26th January from 10am. We will provide hot drinks but please bring along buckets, hand trowels, gardening gloves and something to kneel on. Your club needs You!!! 8)

As you would probably have guessed, this week's work party has been cancelled due to the adverse weather conditions and snow.

We hope that the weather will improve this week and we will be able to go ahead with the planned work next weekend.
