Oh that's sad - is he no longer with us now? They said at the end of the programme he was doing well, and thought he was stable - I suppose this would have been a while ago though. He was beautiful.

Hope it is repeated cos I missed it :(

AT THE END OF THE PROGRAMME IT WAS SUPPOSED TO SAY

1 WEEK LATER JOE WAS BROUGHT BACK INTO THE VETS UNFORTUNATELY HIS KIDNEYS WERE IN THE FINAL STAGES OF FAILURE AND SADLEY WAS PUT TO REST

ERICA AND I WERE BOTH IN TEARS WATCHING HIM FOR ONE LAST TIME

So sorry for you - he was a very beautiful boy, with the most soulful eyes.

RIP Joe x

We watched it too, Erica's comments about him racing and now enjoying his retirement were lovely. :huggles:

You could see the improvement in his character alone between the first visit to the vet and the follow-up after he had started the medication. It was difficult to be almost wishing his health to continue to improve and yet to know the eventual outcome so soon after the programme was made.

:(

Can't imagine what it must have been like for you both to have watched that :(

Gorgeous dog

Just wish the outcome could have been different for you both :huggles:
