Another Night Doing What Nurture Intented

we i set of for a hours lamping the night the battrey was only on charge for 2 hours so i know it was gonna be a short night and only wanted a few runs as he has been out 5 times in 7 day so think he is due a bit of a rest the wind was dead and a real chill in the air the first field was a stubble field at the side of the road with only the one rabbit in it im sure due to the noise i was making walking up the road this rabbit was in the bag before it knew what was going on the next rabbit he ran he also got after a few turns he did have another run in this field but it turned him inside out before making its get away the next run had no hope it ran its self into real trouble it headed down the field with prince all over its arss into boggie type ground where he made short work of it he had a couple more runs but with no luck with the lamp going out fast i desided to try another bit of permision that does not hold that many bunnys but we put another 4 in the bag on this land out of 7 runs not to bad i thought it go me out of the house and in great company one man and his dog

Your young dogs is coming on nicely, picking up quite a few, i read all your threads to see what you two have been up to, pity you haven't got videos of him would like to him run,

ill see what i can sort out for you it might be a bit messy as not tryed it before but ill give it a go

[SIZE=21pt]couldn't you take some one with to either slip the dog, or video it , i would quite difficult for to hold the lamp video and slip the dog[/SIZE]

[SIZE=14pt]Oh that last statement made me sound a right div, :D tried to video mine once complete balls up, in the end three of us went out still didn't get any footage as the bloke filming filmed every thing else other than the dog, so gave it up as a bad job,[/SIZE]

quite surprised more people don't put their catches up on here,
 
i do think this site is very anti hunting but if i can get my point acoss what these dog where breed for it my change some from bag to live pray and surely there is no better course than your whippet trying to out smart it quarry

[SIZE=14pt]Totally agree with you robert, i have never had a whippet though, ive had adeerhounxsalukix whippetx greyx excellent coursing dog, a kelpiexgreyxwhippxcollie,good all rounder, a bullx grey nice enough but too hard mouthed and deerhoundx colliexwhipp she was a excellent rabbit dog and a greyxdeerhoungxsalukiwhippxbull excenlent fox dog and a few others to mention i like too see what working dogs too but i think it will be a while to convert everyone, saying that all the above raced during the summer sadly i haven't any lurchers at the mo, just a terrier hoping in the near future to get back into it[/SIZE]
