My friends daughter wants a cocker spaniel for her first pet in her own home, my own experience to share with her (about golden cockers) is quite negative, does anyone know if there is a forum like this one but for cockers?
I've told her about k9 but wouldn't try to influence somebody to get a particular breed as each ones needs are different,
all I've said is OUR WHIPPET is extremely clean, affectionate, very gentle, hardly barks, sheds a bit, isn't smelly, is no trouble whatsoever, is well mannered and has not a sly, vicious bone in her body, is very low maintenance, doesn't chew everything in the house .................but of course I know from tales here that not all whippies are like that :- " ( in the chewing department :blink: )
