My spaniels dog lead broke after a month of using it! really not happy with the quality. any recommendations for something new and a bit different?

I've just bought Harri a very nice traditional tan leather lead. He looks very posh! At £3.99 from the local pet shop it isn't going to break the bank either.

Ideally I'm looking for something leather and handmade, but something that is easily washable. any ideas?
