Ok, my addiction to whippets has got the better of me, I'm on the lookout for another whippet pup, DH doesn't know yet, but he soon will  I think Tascha would benefit from a whippety friend too, as I think she thinks she's human!!!

Bloody Hell, Andrea that didn't take long

Everybody told me you can't have just one :- " , good luck in your search Andrea :luck: :luck:

Gabriel is 10months old and Samael 6months old! :b

If they are not curled up together asleep they are constantly hanging off each others throat!

You have been warned! :p

I'm being cautious and trying to find a very reputable breeder. I'm not fussed either way, a dog or bitch would be lovely, cos Whippets are just the best little doggies.

I think Tascha is lonely for *pup* type friends. When the kids go to school, she whines after them, even though I play with her, she wants someone *younger* to play, who has the energy and stamina that I don't LOL.

I would prefer racing lines, though that's not important to me, I'd be happy to just find a nice little pup to give a good home too.

Thanks for all the warnings and replies, I can't wait to find all this out for myself lol.

Aw! I'm going to have great fun tracking your progress, Andrea :) and then I shall do it myself  I know exactly what you mean about Tascha needing a pal. Josie's the same. There's a strange need in her for company of the whippet sort... I've noticed she loves her friends on the Common and has mad play sessions with them every morning (3 spaniels, 3 terriers, a greyhound, several black labs, a lovely-white GSD who all play beautifully together). But on the rare occasions when we see a whippet, or a whippet-type lurcher, she is mesmerised by them.

Yes Helen, Tascha has a lovely staffy pup come play, and she likes to play with other dogs when we go out walking, but it's the bit when she's at home that she feels left out. I know a Whippety companion is in order lol.

I will just have to keep searching, and see if I can find a good friend for her.
