I was cooking pasta the other day for the dogs,of course the phone rang, and i forgot about my pasta boiling  I manage to save most of the pasta :D but burnt the bottom of the saucpan,i,ve soaked it and manage to get most of it off, using brillo pads, bicarb, but there's still bit of burnt bits left, anyone got any solutions? The saucpan is stainless steel.

Now i,m sure i,m not the only one thats done this on one or two ocassions :- "

try using a couple of teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda add boiling water and leave to soak over night dawn

Done it - may times myself.

But a little bio laundry detergent and warm on the stove and if that doesn't shift it, spray with oven cleaner and leave over night.

TOP TIP.........

get a cookong lesson :teehee:

If you do it again, biological washing powder, soak over night and the burnt bits will fall off! Biotex is very good for this. I used to clean caravans on change over day, so have used this to great effect. Warm water and soak. :teehee:

Sometimes i forget i,ve got eggs boiling too  Does,nt it smell :x

The best is cover the bottom of the pan is salt, and put the pan on a really hot hob, the salt atracts the burnt offerings and lifts clean off !!
