Hi, this is the second time this year ive had probs with em, i pay these people by direct debit, but yesterday i received a letter saying if my account isnt brought up to date by the 30th of this month, then i am to say goodbye to my connection, then so be it, ive checked my bank account, and this months AOHELL, money has been taken out, so feck em, i only use the internet to keep in touch with friends abroad occasionally, and to come on k9.

Just thought i would let you know, then if im not around you wont think ive kicked the bucket :lol:

That is awful Keith. We pay monthly through our C/C and have had no problems. I get sick of the slow speed of their broadband sometimes I'm sure I would be better on dial up :angry:

:angry: Thats why we got rid of AOL cos we were sick of all the disgusting stuff that used to come through from them - despite having blockers in place :rant: . There are other providers out here Keith so dont you dare think that you wont be coming on K9! What would we do without our piccys of lovely Jill and Sally and stories of your adventures - and you would lose your showcase for your fashion :- " designs.

Had a phone call yesterday from AOL, appologising for there cock up, offered me broadband for £9 99 per month

Don't forget if you accept that, they will also put you on a new minimum 12 month contract. We got the same offer just over 12 months ago.

Thats why we got rid of aol they wouldn't give us our migration number so we could change until I threatened to complain to whoever is is you complain too. We've been payig for the highest one 8mb but got told we can only take 2 on our phone line they only admitted it when I told them what sky had said

Hey Keith we don't want to lose you or especially the pics of Jill. I got a good deal from Eclipse, I get my broadband and free national telephone calls for a combined rate, only pay BT for the line rental. There are some good deals if you combine them with phone charges, and it is so much better being on broadband than dial-up. I am sure you can find a deal to suit you Keith and save some money as well
