Hi guys,

I'm having severe connection problems with AOL at the moment, very hard to get on, and then the connection goes again. Very frustrating when in the middle of a long winded email!! Is anyone else who uses aol having similar problems? I have spoken to them, well a call centre in India, and they seem to think it's my phone line!! I don't, because all the problems started when a new message came up on aol when connecting, something along the lines of "connecting via TCP/IP" when I mentioned this they said that they were in the process of changing the way they connect folk, now via Carphone Warehouse!!! I reckon that's more than a coincidence!! Any other aol users out there??

Kirsty, when you log onto, AOL you get the warning screen telling you your connection needs upgrading, you need to order the cd, it will be with you the next day, just insert, follow onscreen instructions, and thats it job done, then log off and use AOL 8

Hope ive helped

Thanks for that, but I've already had AOL 9 vr loaded, still no use!!!

Dpn't believe everything AOL tell you! About six months ago we had a similar problem. Called AOL Live Help. Taking their advice we went all around the houses uninstalling things and re-installing. We were down about four days. Turns out there was a problem at AOL. Nothing at all to do with all the things we had been told. Not the first time this has happened.
