does anyone know what the conditions are like at ashfordby because if they are like it is here ( it is absolutly peeing down at this moment )we are in for a good soaking

The childrens party will be on the field , for safety reasons with BBQs etc.

So has anyone got any large sheets of plasic we can put between 2 caravan to keep the food dry. Im willing to get as wet as the kids

The party needs to be by the vans as mine is full of food and prizes

burt madge phoned me today he is stopping half an hour away from asfordby, his had warm sunshine all day and outlook looks good to, i have heard, fingers crossed, safe jurney all, see you&good luck

at least we cant complain that the tack is too hard and be afraid 4 our dogs feet lol also we shud at least be able to get our tent pegs in this year lol i hope it does stay dry as i have been asked to tape it again.

We are all packed and the caravan is clean . The caravan is still at mother in law's as she has traveler's knocking at her door asking if it was for sale so it's safer staying where it is and not outside our house . Got the letter from the school saying they were letting the kid's go for our weekend holiday ( god if only they knew :teehee: ). Looking forward to seeing all our friend's again :lol:

news at moment is everyone there is in the car park coz the field is too wet.fingers crossed if the rain holds off we'll be on on friday but apparently cars still have to be left in the car park (w00t)

Dont panick Im sure the cars are in the car park just till friday , the grounds wet and the cars would make it alot worse coming and going over the feild

We hope to arrive about 1am Friday. When we arrive will we have to stay in the car park with the caravan. What if there is no room left as im sure loads of folk will be there before us. After almost 8 hour's traveling I will want to get the caravan parked and into bed, not try and find somewhere safe to park up.

Susan dont panick Im sure its just to stop cars making a mess of the grass in all this rain. By the time you get there the cars will be on the field i would think. If there not tough ....drive on and get to bed sort out where your car has got to go in the daylight , after you have had some sleep. Just park your car as always next to your van.

Asfordby committee werent told it would be parking only in the car park so as Ive said I think its just a short term thing due to the rain. :thumbsup:
