I have been asked by the BWRA President and Registrar to put this post on K9

that the proposed meeting between Regional Reps and Secretaries will still take place at the Bowling Club, Old Hall, on Sat. 3rd July, at 11.oo a.m.

This will be to elect TEMPORARY positions on the BWRA top table. Doreen Hopkins has NOT resigned as Registrar but is willing to take over as Secretary. Lynn Rowley is proposed as Registrar but I must emphasize this is only a temporary measure until ther BWRA A.G.M. in December

Are you sure you have the correct date for this BWRA meeting as the proposal forms do not have to be returned until the 15th JULY. How can a decision be made when all the proposals have not been returned?

i may be wrong but i think the aim of next weeks meeting is to elect a temporary commitee and then when the proposals for the top table can be put forward at the agm

Michelle, you are correct. I didn't realise that this meeting was nothing to do with the proposals. I jumped  "the gun" and misunderstood. I have since been told this meeting and the proposals are two separate issues. Joan.

:) just read w.news editorial and it said that John Fitzpatrick Paul Jennings offically resigned and Doreen Hopkins stepped down from registrar, we went to that reps meeting and Doreen never resigned or stepped down and Paul and John never said they would stay on until respective post were fillled, they were thank for the work they have done, and that was the end off it, surely its upto the remaining committee and reps to put in place a care-taker committee until the proposal -- A.G.M Meeting when we the members can elect the committee to run the B.W.R.A, just the way Paul Jannings was voted on when Malcolm Clarke resigned.
