can I remind anyone holding trophies for this open 2005 please return them on time this years event is 19th February

a £20 fine will be implemented for failure to return any trophies

Hi, we are attending this open and I would just like to let people know that if they require an experienced bend dog to trial their pups/yearlings with Connor's Lass is available provided that we are approached before 11:45am (if not we will race her).

That is of course also provided that there is time for trialling on the day.

Harry spent the afternoon on a Jet Ski

No Queens Speech......We watched Shrek 2 on Sky...

For Jim Leitch Scotland---straight down M6 just past Preston left onto M61---Reebok turn off --- right turn over motorway ---left turn towards Westhoughton--third set of lights turn right Greyhound Pub (closed on left) ---- through three more sets of lights stay on same road aprox two / three miles ---down a bit of a hill track on left as you go down .

Hope this is ok for you Jim best of luck on the day to all attending

From the north A1...WE JUST PRINTED IT OUT SO DEBBIE DOESN'T GET LOST (w00t) (w00t)

A1(M) motorway (signposted The South A1M)

At Junction 44 take the right hand lanes (signposted M1 London, Leeds, Manchester) and join the M1

Leave the M1 at junction 42 M1

and keep right (signposted Manchester, Bradford)

Continue forward onto the M62

Travelodge - Birch Service Area M62 Westbound (MOTO)

Continue forward onto the M60.

Leave the M60 at junction 15 and keep in left lanes onto the M61 (signposted M6 North, Preston, Wigan, Bolton)

Keep in left hand lanes at junction 2 (signposted Preston) M61

Leave the M61 at junction 5, then at roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A58 (signposted Westhoughton, Wigan) A

At Manchester Road roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Park Road - A58 (signposted St Helens, Wigan) A58

Continue forward onto Park Road - A58. Entering Westhoughton A58

Turn right onto Park Road Park Road

Continue forward onto Market Street Market Street

Arrive at Westhoughton,Bolton

Much quicker across to M6 And straight down ----either across to Carlisle via Hexham --or To Tebay Via A66- Scotch Corner -Brough --Kirby Stephen --- M6 and down to M61 From North East , 2hours 30mins aprox
