Went on a nice night out in Nottingham with OH and friends, Parked car up , had good night till returned to car and found two windows smashed in and stereo and tom-tom nicked!!!  :rant:Only down the road from the police station too. Police caught the scum ( probaly smackheads no doubt!) bet they get a fine and community service  while we have to pay excess on the insureance and the ball ache of sorting it all out!

Cant believe what s***t people there are about. What gives them the right to do things like that? I'd never dream of doing something so shady.

Should bring back hanging i think!!!, or chop their dirty little hands off.

Hi Jackie, I think it was 'Queen street', The policeman said to us( we were at the police station till half seven in the morn -_- so spent most of saturday alseep!) that its a hotspot for car crime apparently. Unbeknown to us at the time :b Theres no need for you to be embarassed though just cause its your home town :huggles: I must admit its put us off though :( Its only the second time been into Notts on a night out, the first time was just to see 'chicago' but we went on a coach though.

sorry youve had stuff nicked but tbh id never leave any valuables in the car in this day and age, especially a stereo and a sat nav  .police warn us all the time not to do this.they even tell you now to take the clip on thingy out of the window for the sat nav as when a thief sees this he knows its for the sat nav and so will break in and see if theres one been left in the car.

im of the saudi arabian school o thought on thieves, chop the buggers hands off, they wont do it again o:)

I've even been told by a friend that is a policemen that thieves are even targeting cars that just have the round sucker mark on the windscreen - so looks like I'll be cleaning more often now!

Sorry to hear about your theft :(

they told us the same thing on my car site as well Jo about the sucker mark on the window. we just put ours in the well in the window while were using it and take it with us when we leave the car, that way it doesnt make any marks on the window ;)

That's dreadful

Not so long ago,a friend of mine had hers broken into at a motorway services, the s***s broke the handle on the door, made a mess of the interior & nabbed the stereo!

I agree with Kris on the Saudi arabian school of thought !!!

Apparently the police had been after these guys for ages, They raided their home and found shedloads of stuff. Its their living apparently   Should get a job like most normal folk!
