I am still hunting a sire for violet.

Unfortunately Fine and Dandy will not be available this week so violet has been left heartbroken. I dont dare think how Dandy must feel if he only knew what he had just missed out on :b

Anyway day 12 of her season is tommorrow so I am running out of time (and luck).

Obviously I would like to use the best dog possible and would rather wait than use up what will be violets second and most definately LAST litter.

If anyone can give me detaild of dogs simlar in racing pedegree to Red Devil or Fine and Dandy please le me know.

Without seeming rude .......Why have you left it so late ??? ........Jimmy and Gigsy are top class racer's, but like most need more than a weeks notice .......I chose the dog for my girl 18 months befor he was "needed" .......On the other hand ...........There are lot's of dogs out there with Jimmy's breeding as this mating was repeated 3 times due to it's success ......Gigsy has 2 very good brothers and that line is strong, but I guess you know this if your wanting to use one of these line's :- " ...... :luck: :luck: anyway .......

Violet is very light if you get my meaning, :- " when she comes into season. Her daughter from her first litter came into her first season the week before and threw us of the scent a bit. Also we have had a dog lined up that was then unavailable.

So generally Violet is about a week into season before we are 100% sure that she is actually in season.

To make matters a little more complicated Red devils owner Viv moved away

(I know what youre thinking, how selfish of her). So it took a couple of days to track her down, luckily Ann Brown came to my rescue there.

Anyway to cut to the chase I today drove all the way to sunny Somerset so that Violet and Gigsy (red devil) could be romantically reunited. (Actually they decided to skip the romance). :b

Fingers crossed, if it was successful a litter will be due 21st Dec

good luck :luck: and being born right near christmas if she got caught

lovely photo by the way, they are little sweeties

Well done for driving to Devon - a romantic dash! Hope Violet has taken, and good luck with the pups

I remember that last litter   what little angels they looked , how have they done for you ? and good luck with the impending babies :luck:
