my bichon frese suffers from bad breath,we feed him on dry food,he had 3 teeth removed 2 months ago,he also has lost most of his fur on his flanks, the vet is not sure whats causing it,dose anyone have any suggestions what the problems could be.

If the vet don't know then I'd change vets t.b.h.

You may have to run some tests to find out what is wrong with your dog. Bad breath usually clears up after a dental but may carry on if the dog is suffering from some other problems. You don't say how old he is. As dogs get older they can get all sorts of things go wrong. Best to ask for some further investigations I would think.
