BAKER
Baker is a greyhound x lurcher and is around 5 years old. He was sadly found in a ditch in Ireland with another lurcher who was almost completely blind. Baker has a lovely white and brindle coat, but needs to gain a lot of condition as he was found in very poor health.
Poor Baker has had a very tough life so far, but hasn't lost his trust in people. He enjoys human company and is soaking up all the affection he can get after his hard times. He is very well behaved around other dogs, cats, chickens and ducks! His recall is also extremely good considering he has only been with his temporary foster family for a short while.
Baker is currently in foster care in Ireland, but is due to travel to the UK over the next 4 weeks. Due to being so underweight, Baker has not yet been neutered, but this will be done before he goes to his new home. He is vaccinated and microchipped, and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.
If you are interested in adopting this lovely lad, please email me on tamakin_84@yahoo.co.uk for an information pack and adoption questionnaire. Thanks!
~~ KERRY GREYHOUND CONNECTION ~~
Kerry Greyhound Connection is a small voluntary organisation based in County Kerry, Ireland and Norfolk, England and operates through a network of volunteers. We can look after approximately 50 greyhounds at any one time, in both Ireland and the UK.
Each dog is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and given a full veterinary check before being adopted.
We assess the suitability of all home offers, and we have homed greyhounds in Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA. We work hard to match the right hound to the right home, and a homecheck will be required as part of the adoption procedure.
We can be contacted via PM or through any of the following:
