Ball Hare Racing

Ball hare racing is a bend track on a field using the same kind of lure as we do for straight racing, the bends are made from some kind of stiff material or sheeting and pulleys are used for the lure to be pulled around the track.(I could be wrong but i think sometimes a ball was on the lure to help it to bounce off the bends for dogs to see hence ball-hare) (Bend racing but not mechanical as at a greyhound stadium).

Not sure if this will make sense to you but ball hare racing was quite popular in the late 70's we used to have a U-bend track at Shireoaks and Kiveton Park the equipment was then passed on to Shirebrook WRC. Hope this makes sense to you i know what i mean but difficult to explain.lol.
