She trialed a week on wednesday :thumbsup: ,50 yards up the track she slowed :( ,finished run legs filled up with blood. :eek:

Rushed her to the vet's :sweating: ,torn stomach muscle's :oops: the vet has advised that she retire's :wacko:

We hope she will be ok though :D
 
poor molly....hope she makes a speedy recovery :luck:
 
That was the worst thing i've ever seen since starting racing, hope she's on the mend :luck:

Both legs?

Coral had a similar problem last year-just one of his legs filled up with blood-we mended him though.

Was it front or back legs ???? and if back was bleed high into groin area or did it start lower down??? reason for questions i am very interested in how and why injuries occur --- steve

Back Legs high up in the stomach left leg worst than right both legs filled with blood skin started to split blood bleeding through had to keep her packed in ice all night swelling now gone but she has a lump the size of a grapefruit top inside of left leg vet has advised that she retire's

Vet Paul Evans works mainly with greyhounds

Hope she's on the mend, it was a shocking injury to see and so sad to happen to a young dog.

Cheers Tommy ---had a look at photos and it does look bad ---lot higher than Corals as you say started in tummy--hope it mends ok for you ----Glucosamine sulphate is good stuff for helping soft- tissue mend ---and cant do any harm .
