Umm, you may have to be careful about how you word things Imperative.

A "Barnesmore pup" can only be a "Barnesmore pup" if it is bred by the Barnesmore Kennel ie Lucinda and Felicity Thompson of Northern Ireland. These are the only people legally entitled to advertise their whippets as "Barnesmore" litters/pups.

It seems the lady who bred this litter you speak of is not one of the above? But she has bred two dogs of the Barnesmore kennel name together? This does not make the litter "Barnesmore pups". The lady who bred this litter will have her own kennel name and therefore the pups will belong to that prefix/affix.

Eg - Let's say I own two Barnesmore dogs and I breed them to produce a litter. That litter is bred under my prefix, ASLAN. I am not entitled to call them Barnesmore pups - they are Aslan pups. The correct terminology for me when I was advertising them would be to say "Aslan litter from Barnesmore lines".

I know you are new to the game - I'm not criticising you, just trying to educate you in the linguistics/legalities of the pedigree dog world. :))

Well worded Lana

I have been thinking how to put this point over myself.

Unless of course the lady in question asked you to advertise them as Barnesmore pups in which case she is totally out of order trying to sell them using the well known Barnesmore affix.

I am surprised Fiona or Lucinda have not responded to the post themselves.
