if a venue could be found to allow overnight camping would anybody prefer

the bend champs to be held on a saturday/afternoon evening

as some greyhound venues dont use their tracks on sat nights

also presentation would be better

that sounds like a realley good idea

andy pockett

always up for a weekend do think I know just the venue

It makes it easyer for anyone having to travel any distance aswell

But I certainly wouldn't want to camp in a tent in November or stay any later at night that necessary for the presentation especially as it will be dark and there could possibly be bad driving weather on the way home.

But all the same let it slip - what's the venue in mind ?

What about the people who work Saturdays? A lot more people get sunday off.

I agree with fleesh , Im not camping at that time of year, and if its held to late in the day, then I wont want to travell late at night to get home either.

a bend weekend sounds good ,but racing at night :not sure would the dogs not need to race at nights prior to champs to avoid accidents , could be difficult but worth looking into. phil

We want to start Emma on the bends this year , but not if it means going home on icey moterways late at night
