john m said:A central position for all racers, cost to those concerned, ie track and hirers and cost to those who race, entry fees and what is paid out.The owner of the track must be content on what he will make from the hire of the track and what he sells in food and drink on the day.
The hirer of the track must have to be content with the gate money they charge plus the entry fee they charge to pay out for trophies and money for classes etc.
The racers have to be content that their entry fee and cost of food and drink are value for money, and the pay out.
If all of these things come together then a good meeting is guaranteed, if on the other hand one of the above three do not meet the approval of either the racers, the track owner, or the hirer then it will not be a good meeting or no meeting if it is the track owner who is light.
