You loved the crack with Gaz but he always got you in trouble with debs ...leading you astray lol

i prefer the straight as i am a sun lover and its normally warm weather ..plus great camping events with good company

I like them both. Wish I had a bend dog though. The only open racer I have had a bad injery when she was a pup.(If she was a greyhound she would never race). But on the straight's she's ok. I've got 3 pup's. 1 out of a greyhound so hopefully I'll have something to run next year.

I couldn't choose, the straights are great as it's usually summer, and the races themselves are fast paced action. I agree the weekend events are a great for meeting up and having a few beers, shame about Devon now. The bends are good as the outcome of a race can really change adding to the excitement, plus the fact your hobby keeps you occupied through the grim winter weekends. Oh and usually good hot food to warm you up! :)

straights any day  got u proper nacked in scotland neil lol n deb mortal remember the black nix :p  soz deds :D

i love both but must say bend racing better to watch for the spectators

got to be the straights weekends great great company plenty of drink make an arse of yourself then its all forgotten the next day (FUN THATS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT ) whether you have a dog to run or not :clown: :clown: :clown:

Good god Maz what you doing on here this time on a friday night. You usually pie eyed by now. :D

We used to love the bend racing with Ross ( Crack O Dawn),,boy he could run the bends :D , we loved to stand at the wall watching the dogs going by and also get warm food into out tummy's, but since the death of BJ (Blue Tsunami) on the local bend track, we still have not set foot at a greyhound track :(

So our vote has to be the straights, and all our dogs will only run straight's. Im sure Ricky could have been a good bend dog, but we will never know

Bends are good to watch, it's brilliant watching dogs who have excellent bend craft, i love the sound of the roar from the stand in a close final too, just a shame it's always bloody freezing.

I love the weekenders and the 10 days in Scotland and Devon but I think the atmosphere at a good bend open is hard to beat. We used to have some great caravan weekends at Kingsley stadium with Steve and Julie
