i have being in none ped racing now for 13 years, and the amount of people that have said to me, ill be glad when the straits start back, as there is more danger and injury risk with the bend racing...

i myself have only seen one death on the bends, and that was the top class dog called smurfette... this dog fell before the 1st bend, it was gaz baileys dog and it was competing against my own dog, uptown girl.. very sad loss..but this is the only dog i know off....but this strait racing seems to be claiming dogs one after another....

the reason for my post is just to see if you agree with me or not..give us your views....

seen a lot on bends more than straights think its very rare though on both

Ive had 3 very bad accidents,,,on the straights,,,2 broken right front legs,,one had to be amputated, the other 2 plates. One death on the bends,,he broke his neck.

I said till BJ died thats bends were safer

Dont race now, but I still say it's safer to run the dogs on a track than over hills etc

I'm closing this topic as i don't think now is the time.
