i already have 2 dogs lol both retired though. is ballajura injured david?

picked up left groin//right shoulder, not sure where we go from here,as normal no luck.

not surprised he took a right wacking off the white dog up the home straight as did southern spark on the top bend did in the run off this dog should never have been allowed to go through to the final it should have been disqualified in the first round let alone go through as the winner of that race

excuse me for being so blunt but it really annoys me that these dogs keep getting away with it Ive got first hand experience of my own dog from the start of her racing career ruined by bloody tacklers is it going to have to take a dog getting seriously injured before something is done about them what the hell have we got RULES for

rant over heres hoping for a speedy recovery

the pedigrees have to gain clearance at the clubs bend and straight before they are accepted into racing going to discuss it with the NNWRF committee as we are all concerned about this, there is no need for it to be happening especially in straight racing as we all are members of at least one club where schooling should be done

It is however the responsibility of the organisers of any race meeting be it open or club to disqualify the offending dog from a race unless this happens the owners will just carry on blinkered believing there dog is sound

if done properly and dogs are cleared at clubs by say running in 3 races with a minimum of two other dogs then we could hopefully look forward to some good clean open racing

I think clearance for bend racing should be as above but with a minimum of three other dogs

ANY CONSTRUCTIVE SUGGESTIONS ON THIS VERY WELCOME

I agree, however the dog in question ran clean at the Black Power so you can't even go off how they've run previous - only thing you can do is disqualify them. I know Dave's got leant on down the back straight, but i didn't see anything going on in the class final - then again, you do tend to only be looking at your own when it's in the race. Mark asked to see the video considering the dog drew the trap next to ours in the class run off but was told the clerk of the course had already made the decision to allow the dog through - guess all will be revealed on the dvd.

Like Linda said, on the straights, getting dogs to run clearing trials at their clubs could be the way forward.

i think this thread shud b seperated now as its gone way off topic. the question was wot r u looking forward too?

i think it is a very good idea that your dog shud have ran with 2 dogs etc but it shud b a seperate thread thanx

my last comment on here carol, sorry

i did complain to the box, offcial looked at dvd informed me was a bit naughty and would watch in the final.

pointed out it was on roddy all round and he could not get away from it,and it should be diquified and arnold put through. and my concern for the final.

its history now and roddy laid off yet again :(

really the owner should of be responsable and pulled it out.

tommy carr did point it out to the owner (w00t) it did get a bit heated
