Hi all I am a farly new member I have 2whippets Skye & Indie a male & female.

My little female whippet has got ear tips that curl back I was wondering if enybody else has had this problem, and is there enything I can do to stop it I was hopeing to show her next year she is 14 months old.

They sound adorable  can we see a picture of them?

I would if I new how to send them, Iam not very good with computers.

My first whippet had these - we used to tape 10p pieces to her ears and take them off just before she went into the ring. Yes it's a cheat, but she was gorgeous in all other aspects :) Then she went racing and no one gave a monkeys! :D

14 months old and not been shown yet? Tut tut - she is LONG overdue!

Thanks for surgestion with the 2pences but I think it would have to be 1ps as she has got small ears she is only 15 1/2ins tall, as for not showing her sooner I have only had her for 8weeks she is a rescue Whippet.

aww bent back ears are just soo cute :))

one of daisy's ears did that when she was a wee pup, it annoyed me fir a while and i kept trying to fold it the other way but it sorted itself out eventually. :) I sort of miss it though  . Anyway I wouldn't worry about it too much it might sort itself out in time for you to show her. If not, i bet she's gorgeous anyway and i'm sure she'll love her new home :))

As you can see from the signature below we have the same with our whippet below, she was about 8 months when they curled backwards and now at 17 months they are dead straight, we just assumed she was from racing stock. Her ears are now dead straight making her look similar to a Pharoah (hope I've spelt that right) Hound.

:) Thanks for the photos, I hope her ears will improve as she gets older but I love her just as much she look so cute  I will probably race her as well as showing like I do Skye my male Whippet.
