Hi, i don't know if this has been asked before but i am planning on buying some more whippet books as i love learning more about the breed and i was wondering which books people found most useful? i have quite a few on owning/rearing/choosing a whippet and some that go in to detail about showing but little about racing/coursing. I would like a book about the history of the breed but more importantly one with equal (ish) amounts of showing coursing, lure coursing and racing. i anyone has any recommendations i would be highly grateful.

Two good books are The English Whippet by E G Walsh and Mary Lowe and The Whippet by J P Moran-Healy. Both very informative and covering all aspects of Whippets. I would recommend both. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

hi thankyou for your reply! i have got "The Whippet" by J P Moran-Healy and yes this is my fav book. and i was actually looking at "The English Whippet" yesterday and wondering if i should buy it, you have made my mind up now!! thanks! :thumbsup:
