???

lol good idea jade glad you asked about the whippets that are around now lol, i dont have a clue either. I still feel the confuzed newbie at times when pplz talk about "the greats from..." (any more than a year or so and i'm buggered ??? )  Still I suppose one day it will be us knowing all the greats from now. lol   :D             c ya around .

Hi in my opinion you can not compare dogs from the past with those we run today as most of what we are running today and i did say most!!!! are a lot smaller -faster and better fed  than  those in years gone by. Also there is no-where near as many competing for the titles the days of clubs having over 100 dogs each week at club level has sadly gone even opens dont attract those numbers any more, the dogs i can remember standing out from the rest were  Lone eagle - Good as Gold - Cherry-Blackie-Roberta-D-Mr Benn  Snowflake to name but a few   Present ones are sasperella -Shooting Star-Branca-Home alone-Dancing Wind but  i think without doubt that the best all round bitch at the present and most underated has to be Demolition Blue as far as i know its the only one to beat Dancing Wind both on the bends and straights and i also tip her to take top honnors at the forthcoming FED bend championships  time will tell ,best of luck to all competing hope it is injury free for all. To Danny!!!!go get em and make this a year for your dads memory as it was his dog, lots of luck  Steve. PS send the wife to the wedding and take someone you like with you to the bends   Ha hA Ha

extacy must be well up there with the best ;) not forgetting harry's fluke, and mad mick, plus a kinda magic who also was a great dog both bends n straights, also a top little bitch is branca,

i agree i think that mad mick is a fantastic dog and always seem to perform when he needs to, i also think tha hellbound is a great heavy weight, hes one im looking out for at the fed cahmps :p
