To all you non-ped racers out there, especially if you are near oxford or on the M40 corridor or surrounding areas, who enjoy bend racing or are thinking about trying the bends with a dog and need a track to school on i thought i would let you know about a decent track to school, start or just give your dogs a run on.

The guys that run this track, like everyone are struggling to make ends meet and if we don't support them it will mean the loss of another track.

The guys are really helpful and happy to slip dogs, start dogs, help with trapping or any other requests that you may have. You can run any breed of dog and i mean any ( have seen an alsation enjoying a run round the track in the past) I have started my current racing dog off here, supreme bend racing champion Ouija Board, and hope to be able to introduce my pups to bend racing here as well.

The track surface is sand and very well maintained, runs are timed and you can run any distance you choose, they also have hurdles there.

The track is situated not far from Bicester , the M40 J9 off the A41 on the B4011 Thame road at clue hills farm ( HP18 9UZ i think) just past the prison on the right hand side. Contact number is : 07850 375164, trialing sunday mornings till 1pm, ring first to check and book in. Also some wednesdays again ring first before travelling. £5 per dog per run. They will also run race meetings by prior arrangement.

So come on you racers, give this track a go.

Looks great , I actually worked in Bicester last yr it's a very nice place !

I agree with everything that has been said, we have been trialling Chalky ( Sun Up ) round this track.

The staff couldn't be more helpful and the track conditions are perfect. ( still a 200mile round trip for us )

but if you want to get trials you have to put yourself out if thats your nearest track.

Give it a try

Doreen

And for all you bargain hunters out there, Bicester has a retail village.......
